Your future begins here # Together with the Enterprise Architect, you are responsible for the entire process from design to the further development of our open-source collaboration services. In this way, you support the Schweizer Armee in achieving its goals for digital sovereignty. You make architecture decisions, steer implementation in a scaled agile environment, and work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams. Your goal is the construction and documentation of highly available, security-critical applications for mail, voice, chat, video, files, and printing • You further conceptualize, design, and develop the system architecture for collaboration services, develop architecture concepts and target images, and ensure compliance with standards and guidelines • You integrate solutions seamlessly into the datacenter platform and peripheral systems of the Schweizer Armee and advise internal and external stakeholders on technologies and solution approaches • You consider scalability, high availability, security, and performance as guardrails, analyze risks and dependencies, and steer quality throughout the entire lifecycle • You work closely with Product Owners as well as security, operations, and network architects and support tenders and offers with technical evaluations and architectural contributions Your Skills • Degree (Uni/FH/HF) in computer science or an equivalent degree, plus several years of experience in the elaboration and documentation of target architectures for open-source collaboration solutions in German • Very good practical experience with Linux as well as container platforms and orchestration, for example with Kubernetes, including automation and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible • Sound understanding of Identity and Access Management with common directory services and protocols, of networks, web servers, and relational databases, as well as of security concepts and regulatory requirements • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as well as with the maintenance of architecture models in common EAM tools and knowledge platforms • You think analytically and conceptually, structure complex technical topics understandably, and make well-founded decisions independently • You communicate clearly, provide technical leadership within the team, develop roadmaps, and present yourself reliably and confidently, ideally with experience in a government environment • You work independently, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious and enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation in agile teams • Very good German in speaking and writing, other national languages are an advantage With us, you have the opportunity to work in one of our offices in Switzerland or from your home office.
