Specialist in Psychiatry with Leadership Function Forensics Wil

As a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, you will take over the therapeutic leadership of a forensics ward and shape its professional direction. In Wil, Canton St. Gallen, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement with a workload to be agreed upon. You bear the professional responsibility for the quality of treatment, lead the medical and psychological staff, and further develop the forensic-psychiatric treatment concepts.

• As therapeutic lead, you take professional responsibility for high-quality treatment in the forensics ward
• You lead and promote the medical and psychological staff and accompany their professional and personal development
• You are responsible for the continuous professional further training of the staff reporting to you
• You contribute your expertise to the further development of modern treatment concepts along the entire forensic-psychiatric treatment chain
• You are committed to constructive interprofessional cooperation and a constantly high quality of treatment

What you bring with you

• Specialist title for psychiatry and psychotherapy or equivalent foreign specialist title with Swiss federal recognition
• Ideally, a sub-specialty title in Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or the willingness to acquire it
• Joy in leading employees and interest in the further development of concepts and processes
• Communicative, integrative personality with joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
