• Education tailored to the technology field, university degree (Bachelor) or higher vocational training in the technical field, statistics, economics or computer science
• Additional training tailored to the technology field (mathematics, statistics, data analysis, data visualization, scripting, programming)
• Proven and many years of experience in the agile management of complex, interdisciplinary projects, in the development and implementation of technology, especially in the area of protection and security
• Above-average commitment, high resilience, discretion as well as willingness for continuous further training in the technical and intelligence field
• Swiss citizen with an irreproachable reputation; good knowledge of a second official language as well as very good English skills

Together for the security of Switzerland!

The NDB deals with the early detection and combatting of terrorism, violent extremism, espionage, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their carrier technology as well as cyberattacks on critical infrastructures. In addition, the NDB procures and evaluates information that is important for security policy. In this way, it provides decisive contributions to the comprehensive assessment of the threat situation.

At the federal level, the NDB primarily serves the Federal Council, the departments and the military leadership with its products. It also supports the cantons in maintaining internal security and the law enforcement agencies at the federal level.
