Head of Accounting & Finance Transformation (w/m/d) Start of employment: immediately or by agreement In this key role, you will take over the overall responsibility for the operational accounting day-to-day business as well as the strategic further development and transformation of the accounting function within our Hospitality area. You will ensure the stability, integrity, and compliance of all financial processes and at the same time drive the modernization, standardization, and automation of end-to-end financial processes. The focus is on the connection of operational excellence and sustainable finance transformation: You optimize closing processes, implement modern technologies, and create scalable structures that optimally align the finance function with future growth. What you can achieveOperational responsibility Accounting & Finance Overall responsibility for the operational day-to-day business in the finance area across multiple operations Ensuring correct, complete, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closures Responsibility for the continuous shortening of closing cycles (Fast-Close approach) Standardization and quality assurance of financial reporting according to USALI or relevant local accounting standards Leadership of internal and external audits as well as main contact person for auditors, tax authorities, and external partners Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, in particular VAT/sales tax returns, payroll taxes, and other hospitality-specific levies Responsibility for cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations as well as ensuring daily liquidity flows Finance Transformation + Process Modernization Redesign of the Night Audit and Revenue Reporting process with stronger integration between PMS, POS, and ERP systems End-to-end optimization and re-engineering of the "Record-to-Report" (R2R), "Procure-to-Pay" (P2P), and "Order-to-Cash" (O2C) processes Introduction and scaling of modern automation and AI solutions in transaction-intensive areas such as F&B, Rooms, and Spa Optimization of AP/AR processes, e-invoicing, credit management, and accounts receivable management Building and automating internal control systems for fraud prevention and ensuring data integrity Implementation of modern reporting, BI, and analytics solutions to improve transparency and decision-making bases Leadership + Team Development Leadership, coaching, and development of the accounting team across multiple locations Building a high-performing, transformation-oriented finance organization Definition of clear goals, conduct of regular performance reviews, and promotion of technical and digital competencies Close collaboration with Operations, IT, HR, and other stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives Active role as Change Leader in the introduction of new processes, systems, and ways of working What you bring Preferred Master's degree or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or similar) and continuous further education in Finance Technology, Data & AI Solid experience in Accounting & Finance, including several years in a leadership position within complex or multi-unit organizations Proven experience in leading finance transformations, including re-engineering of R2R, P2P, and O2C processes, ERP/system implementations, and automation initiatives Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and in-depth understanding of USALI standards, accounting, compliance requirements, and internal control systems In-depth knowledge of modern financial technologies and automation solutions, in particular ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, Workday), RPA, AI/Machine Learning applications, AP/AR automation, and modern closing and reporting platforms Very good knowledge of BI/Analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) and hospitality-specific systems such as Opera PMS, Oracle Micros, M3, or BirchStreet is desirable Outstanding expertise in process optimization, automation, and finance operating models with a focus on efficiency increase and scalability Strong analytical skills, high financial competence, and entrepreneurial thinking Experience in stakeholder and change management across finance, operations, and IT Leadership personality with high implementation strength and pronounced communication and coaching skills Place of work: 2-3 days per week in Andermatt or Altdorf, the remaining part is possible in the home office What you can look forward to A team of passionate doers Generous participation in further education Combination of leisure and work Modern working time model Flat hierarchy with fast decision-making paths Numerous benefits Who we are Andermatt Swiss Alps AG, based in Andermatt, plans, builds, and develops the year-round destination Andermatt with apartment houses, hotels, and villas in Andermatt Reuss.
