Job description
Care Staff Night Toddlers The Robert Aeschbacher-Stiftung operates the Aeschbacherhuus in Münsingen - a socio-pedagogical institution for preschool-aged children as well as for parents with their children. We take in children when remaining in the family system is temporarily not possible or an acute crisis situation exists. Additionally, we offer a parent-child service. Our goal is to create protection and stability as well as to enable development until the necessary assessments have been made and a sustainable follow-up solution can be found. Care is generally provided within the framework of child protection measures. We are looking for a reliable, professionally competent and flexible personality as Care Staff at 10 - 30% or on an hourly basis (approx. 15%) for the infant, toddler and child area (preschool age) immediately or by arrangement. The working hours include night shifts from 20:30 to 07:15 (full or half nights). Assignments take place by arrangement or duty roster; flexible availability is desired. Your tasks:

Responsibility as the sole night watch for our residents in the infant and toddler area (four residential groups as well as parent-child living)
Ensuring safety, stability and a calm night structure for children and parents
Sensitive care and accompaniment of infants and toddlers, even in challenging situations
Age-appropriate care and supply
Support of parents within the framework of parent-child living during nocturnal uncertainties
Early detection of abnormalities as well as situation-appropriate action in emergencies
Independent work with high responsibility as well as involvement of the background services (BD) if necessary
Careful, professionally precise and complete documentation as a central basis for interdisciplinary cooperation and the handover to the daytime team
Supporting and implementing pedagogical as well as nursing concepts in the night context
Participation in team meetings, supervisions, case discussions as well as participation in annual planning and quality development
Your profile:

Completed pedagogical training (e.g. FaBe K, social pedagogy), with experience in the toddler and infant area or
Nursing training with several years of experience in the care of children and infants
Identification with the pedagogical basic attitude of the Aechbacherhuus
High professional and social competence as well as a calm, reflective way of working
Strong independence and sense of responsibility in night work
Resilience, flexibility and confident action in demanding situations
Readiness for flexible assignments
