ES Carpentry Technician

As part of our Sigma Temporaire department, we have the ES Carpentry Technician As part of our Sigma Temporaire department, we are pleased to collaborate with a renowned company in the construction sector based in Valais. To meet its needs, we are actively looking for an experienced M/F carpentry technician: ES Carpentry Technician Technical skills (core business) Reading and interpretation of plans, diagrams and calculation notes Knowledge of wood structures (traditional, industrial, glued-laminated timber framing) Mastery of assembly techniques (mortise-tenon, joints, metal connectors) Marking out, cutting and machining of wood Use and adjustment of machines and tools (saw, planer, mortiser, power tools) Implementation of roofs and wood frameworks Knowledge of construction standards and regulations (DTU, safety rules) Installation, assembly and lifting of carpentry elements Quality control, verification of stability and compliance Notions of strength of materials and load calculations Complementary technical skills: Use of drawing or CAD/CAM software (e.g.: Cadwork, AutoCAD, SEMA) Reading of technical documents and digital plans Basics in measurement and estimates Site monitoring and coordination with other trades Maintenance and upkeep of wood structures Safety and organization skills: Strict application of safety rules on site Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Organization of the workstation Respect for deadlines and procedures Working at heights safely Interpersonal skills (soft skills): Team spirit and collaboration with other stakeholders Clear communication with colleagues, site manager or clients Autonomy and sense of responsibility Stress management and adaptation to site constraints Respect for instructions and hierarchy Your profile: ES technician diploma Skills in planning, reading and preparing plans Use of technical software (Cadwork, AutoCAD, etc.) Interface between the design office and the site Personal qualities: Rigor, precision and sense of responsibility Reliability and professional commitment Good communication and team spirit Ability to adapt and stress management Conditions: Category B driving license required Availability for interventions on construction sites Good physical condition We offer: A long-term mission within a company recognized for its artisanal know-how.
