Specialized educator

• Accompany individuals in daily life and in specific interventions of their personalized project.
• Ensure the reference point for the people welcomed, vis-à-vis the management, parents and legal representatives
• Develop the personalized projects of the entrusted individuals, steer the action mechanism to improve their autonomy and guarantee follow-up in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Implement and participate in individual and collective activities in the form of workshops, animations or outings
• Guarantee the quality of links between the different professions within the team, the institution and the partners
• Guarantee an optimal circulation of information
• Contribute to the supervision, training and support of ASE apprentices, interns as well as any new person integrated within their team
• Diploma in social education, Bachelor in social work or equivalent title recognized in Switzerland, with experience in accompanying people with disabilities, an asset
• Marked interest in accompanying the person in a socio-educational logic and by promoting their self-determination
• Complementary training in the fields of structured education or adapted communication are an asset
• Demonstrated ability to work interdisciplinarily and marked sensitivity to aspects of prevention and support
• Skills in standard office tools
• Swiss nationality or valid permit

The Fondation Clair Bois is a private organization benefiting from a service contract with the State of Geneva. In its six sites located in Pregny-Chambésy, Lancy (Pôle Enfance Adolescence), Pinchat, Chêne-Bougeries, Chêne-Bourg and in the City of Geneva (Pôle Adultes), it welcomes people with multiple disabilities.
