Senior Cloud Network Engineer - Cloud Access Management (CAM) Design and operate central Cloud Landing Zones on Azure and GCP with a focus on Networking, Connectivity and Automation. Senior Cloud Network Engineer - Cloud Access Management (CAM) Job description: As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will take on a central role in the design, engineering and operation of modern Cloud Landing Zones on Azure and Google Cloud. Your focus will be on Cloud Networking, Connectivity and Platform Services. You will develop and operate scalable, secure network and platform services and design automated cloud network solutions. You will work with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and Terragrunt, and contribute to the further development of standards, best practices and automations. Another focus is on Cloud Connectivity, including VPC/VNet, Routing, DNS, Hybrid Connectivity and Zero Trust. You will ensure observability through monitoring, logging and alerting, analyze requirements from Dev teams and continuously improve the Developer Experience. In addition, you will support troubleshooting, performance optimization and cloud efficiency topics and work closely with platform teams, security, architecture and external partners. About the customer: For a large enterprise organization, we are looking for an experienced person to strengthen a Cloud Enablement Team. The team is responsible for central cloud platforms and supports internal development teams with stable, scalable and automated cloud services. Requirements: You bring several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer or Network Engineer in enterprise environments. Very good knowledge of cloud networking on Azure and/or Google Cloud is central, particularly in the areas of VPC/VNet, Routing, DNS, Hybrid Connectivity, Security and Zero Trust. Experience with DevOps principles such as CI/CD, automation and GitOps is required. You also have in-depth practice with Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform and Terragrunt. You are familiar with the operation of distributed systems and have experience with observability, such as monitoring, logging, metrics or Grafana. You are able to analyze complex technical problems in a structured way and develop sustainable solutions. Personally, you convince with a high level of personal responsibility, a pragmatic "get things done" mentality and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams. Good communication skills and curiosity about new technologies in the cloud environment round out your profile.
