• Plan and coordinate ongoing business in a timely manner
• Administratively process, control, and manage double taxation agreements as well as other business of Parliament/Federal Council and coordinate with the Federal Chancellery and other federal offices
• Administratively accompany consensus procedures
• Receive and answer written as well as telephone inquiries or forward them to the responsible person
• Maintain overviews of double taxation agreements and update the relevant ordinance annually

What makes you unique

• Commercial or equivalent training
• Several years of professional experience and familiar with tax law assistance
• High organizational skills
• Interest in mobile forms of work and competent handling of the digital working world
• Very good knowledge of two official languages and English, passive knowledge of the third official language is an advantage

In a nutshell

Working at the interface between politics and international tax business. As an assistant, you support the Tax Department in the handling of political business and procedural management as well as the coordination and organization of departmental tasks. Together with a small team, you form the administrative hub of the department and thus make a central contribution to its success.

The SIF for Switzerland

The State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) is responsible for the coordination and strategic leadership in international finance, tax, and currency matters and represents the interests of Switzerland in these areas abroad. It develops the basis for financial market policy, financial market regulation, and the Swiss tax location.
