How you will help shape things: * In this key position, you will lead the newly created Thermal Technology department with the three teams Plants, Heat Networks, and Heat Connections and develop them technically, organizationally, and personally. * Your focus is on the realization of plants and networks in existing and newly to be created district heating networks. The conclusion is the handover to the operational specialists after successful commissioning. * You will further develop the technical competence in the field of pipe-bound heat and ensure technical quality in the planning and realization of heating networks, heat networks, and energy plants. * You take responsibility for the long-term planning and further development of our heat networks and energy plants and translate strategic decisions into concrete solutions. * You manage the cooperation with planners, executing companies, authorities, and other stakeholders and ensure a high quality in implementation. * You further develop standards and processes and ensure efficient cooperation within the department as well as with adjacent areas. What you bring with you: * You have a completed degree in thermal technology, energy technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study (FH, Uni/ETH). * You convince with several years of experience in the construction or planning of district heating networks, heat networks, or comparable infrastructure (for example, as a project manager in the field of district heating). * You bring several years of leadership experience (ideally over two levels) and know how to lead, develop, and bring together different teams and personalities. * You possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills and can translate complex issues into pragmatic, implementable solutions. * You communicate confidently and bindingly and are experienced in cooperating with authorities, public bodies, and external partners. * You are an empathetic, resilient, and implementation-strong personality who provides orientation, sets priorities, and takes responsibility even in demanding situations.
