The International Commercial Relations service of the Law & International Affairs Division represents Switzerland's interests in the field of intellectual property at an international level. In your capacity as an advisor in intellectual property, innovation and public health, you will work at the intersection of these three fields.

Advisor in intellectual property, innovation and public health (m/f)

What awaits you with us

• Representing the IPI in work related to Swiss foreign policy on health (PES)
• Conducting negotiations and defending Switzerland's interests at an international level
• Raising awareness of the role of intellectual property in research, innovation and public health
• Developing positions and coordinating files within the IPI and with other federal services
• Designing and organizing specialized projects and events
• Putting the IPI in contact with all important actors in the field at national and international levels

What makes your success

• Master's degree in international relations, public health, political science, law or a related field
• Several years of professional experience and negotiation experience, preferably in an international context
• In-depth knowledge of international health law and, preferably, intellectual property law
• Diplomatic skill and a spirit of partnership in collaboration with other federal services and other actors
• Ability to explain complex issues in simple and convincing terms
• Native French or German with good knowledge of the other language as well as excellent command of English
• Team spirit, autonomy, reliability and precision
