The contribution you can make

• Handle all tasks regarding the supply and return of specific air force systems, spare parts, fuels, special ammunition, pilot equipment, medical material, and general consumables
• Ensure autonomous warehouse management according to regulations and process specialist assignments
• Provide support to your male and female colleagues in the team within the scope of supply and return at the military airfields of Alpnach and Emmen
• Be available to perform duties also outside of regular working hours and on weekends, as well as to provide support to the snow removal team in the winter months

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training as a logistics clerk AFC
• Category B driving license, SUVA-recognized forklift license (C and C1E preferred)
• Knowledge of MS-Office as a user, preferably knowledge of SAP
• High personal and social skills, ability to grasp the essentials, stress resistance, speed, team spirit, flexibility as well as orientation towards results and solutions
• Written and oral knowledge of a second official language

In this function, you provide a direct contribution to the operational readiness of the Swiss Army and ensure that material is always available in a safe, complete, and punctual manner. Operate in a clearly structured and security-relevant environment, with defined processes, assuming responsibility within a team that lives reliability, quality, and collaboration. Your activity combines operational warehouse work with organizational tasks, thereby contributing directly to the security and functionality of the army.

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services in favor of the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
