The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur trains around 120 apprentices in 7 different professions annually. Our training programmes are practical, varied and open up many career opportunities for you. With us, you work in a lively, meaningful environment.

In the three-year basic vocational training as a health specialist, you are responsible for the care and support of residents in the retirement homes and for the clients of Spitex.

• Carrying out nursing measures

• Performing medical-technical procedures

• Implementing health promotion measures

*

• Supporting needs- and situation-appropriate care and support

*

• Organising the daily lives of the residents

*

Your Profile ##

• Secondary school A or B with good grades

*

• Outgoing personality, communication and teamwork skills

*

• Sense of responsibility and good powers of observation

*

• Patience and respect

*

• Willingness to work irregular hours

*
