L-Établissement cantonal d'assurance et de prévention, an autonomous public law establishment, wishes to complete its team of specialists by hiring an expert or specialist in fire protection.

Joining our Prevention sector means contributing concretely to reducing risks and protecting people and property in the canton of Neuchâtel. As a specialist or expert, you will intervene in fire prevention, consulting, inspection, training, and support for actors in construction and municipalities.

Your missions

• analyze and process building permit files from the perspective of fire protection
• examine and verify compliance with current regulations of concepts, plans, and supporting documents
• process technical files related to subsidies in the field of fire prevention
• carry out site visits, inspections, and handovers, and analyze particular or complex situations
• advise and support municipalities, owners, architects, engineers, planners, and companies
• prepare and deliver training, information sessions, and presentations related to fire prevention

To successfully carry out your missions, you possess the following assets:

• federal diploma of expert or federal certificate of specialist in fire protection (or training deemed equivalent), with good knowledge of AEAI regulations and the applicable legal framework
• excellent ability to read and analyze plans, as well as solid constructive and technical building knowledge
• good writing skills, excellent command of French and ease with professional IT tools
• autonomy, rigor, and analytical spirit, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
• interpersonal skills and a taste for teamwork, including public speaking and conducting training
• interest in the evolution of techniques and regulations with the desire for continuous training

Special conditions

The position involves regular travel within the canton for visits, inspections, and external meetings; possession of a driver's license is required. Proficiency in German constitutes an additional asset.
