Accounting Specialist, 80-100% # We are strengthening our finance team and are looking for, by agreement, a Here are your main tasks: • You are responsible on a daily basis for the maintenance of the general ledger according to Swiss GAAP FER directives and Swiss obligation law, in particular \- Processing and accounting of provisions, valuation issues, provisions for risks and charges and other complex cases \- Ensuring the correct and complete representation of all subsidiary ledgers (suppliers, donation accounting, fixed asset accounting, etc.) \- Maintenance of fixed asset accounting • You participate proactively in development and digitalization projects within financial accounting • You are responsible for the preparation of periodic VAT returns in a demanding environment (flat-rate method, international context) as well as for the assessment and declaration of withholding tax and the invoicing and reimbursement of withholding tax • You act as a specialist in the consolidation process, accounting for suppliers and products, in close collaboration with your colleagues in Switzerland and abroad • You support the team for questions relating to the processing of legacies, the planning and implementation of the external audit, as well as ensuring an effective internal control system Here is what you ideally bring: • A basic commercial education as well as a completed or ongoing professional certificate in finance and accounting or comparable additional training as well as several years of professional experience in a similar function • Fluency in German and English is required, knowledge of French is an asset • In-depth knowledge of VAT and experience with Business Central as well as knowledge in the accounting treatment of foreign currency issues is an advantage • A committed, dynamic and structured personality with a sense of numbers • An affinity for process automation and digital tools Here is what you can expect from us: • A meaningful, varied and exciting activity in a renowned NGO with a national and international vocation • Great autonomy and the possibility to participate actively in an environment with short decision-making processes • Great flexibility regarding presence hours and place of work • Modern employment conditions Would you like to join the HEKS team?
