The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, as well as metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible internally. This allows us to remain agile, independent and efficient. What you can accomplish: • Secure and cost-optimized stock planning for the Electronics commodity category • Order processing with the ERP system for new and existing items • Verification of order confirmations • Ensuring delivery dates / expediting delivery dates • Processing error notifications • Processing and implementation of eForms (change notifications, item integrations) • Recording and monitoring of volume contracts • Management of article master data in the ERP • Obtaining and evaluating offers in consultation with the strategic purchasing manager • Participation in optimization projects in purchasing • Participation in supplier evaluation • Verification and approval of supplier invoices • Compliance with processes, governance and compliance What you bring: • Completed basic training in the field of electronics or electrotechnology • Additional training as a purchasing specialist or in supply chain management • Experience as an operational buyer in an industrial environment • Reliable personality with an entrepreneurial mindset • Autonomous, structured and conscientious working method • Personal initiative, negotiation skills and ability to persuade • Open, communicative and integrous person • Team spirit • Very good knowledge of ERP and Office • Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written Discover more professional opportunities at Hamilton at jobs.hamilton.ch.
