Head of Power Grid As a technically skilled leader with a strategic perspective, you are responsible for the further development of a modern, powerful, and intelligently managed power grid. The Energie Freiamt AG, based in (AG), is one of the most important energy service providers in the region and supplies over 6'000 customers with electricity and heat. Around 60 employees are committed daily to a secure energy supply, modern energy services, and strong solutions for the region. We are commissioned to appoint an experienced leader as Head of Power Grid In this key position, you report directly to the Managing Director and are responsible for the Power Grid department with around 20 employees (9 of them direct reports). You lead your department strategically, technically, and organizationally and further develop the power grid into a powerful, intelligently managed system. In doing so, you consistently align network planning, flexibility utilization, and digitalization with future requirements and ensure a secure, economical, and forward-looking operation. Additionally, you develop processes further, lead selected projects, and promote cooperation across departmental and company boundaries. Your department also provides market-oriented network services for third parties. The function offers development opportunities in the company's management environment. We are addressing a technically sound and implementation-strong personality with a higher education in electrical or energy engineering or engineering, ideally supplemented by a business management training. You bring leadership experience in a technically demanding environment and are familiar with the requirements of a modern network operation.
