The contribution you can make

• Act as the interlocutor for users at the various training sites
• Guarantee the safety and maintenance of the shooting ranges according to current regulations and meet the needs of the troops, with sometimes variable hours that require flexibility
• Perform maintenance, preparation, porterage, tidying, and organizational work at the assigned shooting ranges and training installations
• Perform maintenance and repair at installations and buildings
• Ensure the on-call service as a member of the operating team and undergo training in the use of coercive measures (incl. firearms)
• Perform snow removal and winter services

What distinguishes you

• Building and infrastructure operator CFC or equivalent training in a technical or artisanal field
• Basic and advanced training in the safety of shooting ranges or willingness to participate in such training
• Category B driving license; category C/CE driving license and forklift driver's license are an advantage
• Organizational skills, team spirit, and ease in maintaining contact with customers; ability to work within a team or independently; efficient and conscientious way of working
• Good knowledge of at least one second official language, familiarity with the use of basic computer programs (MS-Office, etc.)

The Logistics Base of the Swiss Army (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
