Protection and safety are at the center of our actions. The Emergency Center (NZKJP) ensures the inpatient care of children and adolescents in psychiatric emergencies and severe crises. As the only acute psychiatric facility for children and adolescents in the Canton of Bern and as part of the University Clinic, we work in close cooperation with our competence centers in Biel, Spiez and Burgdorf as well as the Ambulatorium Bern and others. In our fast-paced and interdisciplinary emergency operations, highly structured and varied fields of activity await you with a collegial working atmosphere characterized by respect and appreciation. Your tasks

• You care for and support children and adolescents in emergencies and in challenging life situations
• You are co-responsible for interdisciplinary case management and work within the treatment team
• You accompany and support trainees in everyday professional life and assume the function as a vocational trainer in the emergency center
• You ensure, develop and evaluate a high-quality treatment process
• Participation in team meetings, interdisciplinary case discussions, family discussions as well as supervisions is part of your tasks
• You maintain electronic documentation (ORBIS / CUVOS) and seamless service recording (IBI CARE)

Your profile

• You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF and ideally bring experience in working with children and adolescents
• You have experience in a psychiatric environment
• You have further training as a vocational trainer or are willing to complete it
• You are characterized by high social, professional and methodological competence and are willing to work constructively with an interdisciplinary team
• As a responsible personality, you are committed, resilient and flexible and maintain calm and composure even in hectic moments
• You bring joy to demanding patient care in a lively operation
• An independent and careful way of working characterizes you
