HES Lecturer for the Occupational Therapy program

HESAV is a committed, innovative and future-oriented institution. Our concern is to put humans at the heart of health. From the start of the September 2026 term, HESAV will move to the Campus Santé, near the university city south of Lausanne. It will also welcome a new program: occupational therapy, currently attached to the HETSL. In this perspective, the commitments related to this program are, from January 2026, integrated into HESAV. In this context, we are looking for an HES Lecturer for the Occupational Therapy program. MAIN MISSIONS Reporting to the Occupational Therapy program, you design and deliver teaching in the propaedeutic year and in Bachelor training while participating in the development, management and coordination of training activities within the program in collaboration with the program managers and colleagues. Furthermore, you collaborate on the organization of the practical training of students, the development of relationships with professional environments and also on the organization of courses with other health programs. You perform practical training follow-ups while assuming module responsibilities by supervising students and directing Bachelor theses. Finally, you provide services, contribute to research and development projects as well as knowledge transfer. DESIRED PROFILE You hold a Master's degree in a discipline relevant to occupational therapy (in occupational sciences, in health, in education, in rehabilitation, etc.). Your field of expertise focuses on the mental health of adults and the elderly, aging and dementia. You possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in occupational therapy; teaching experience in a University of Applied Sciences would constitute an additional appreciable asset for this position. Furthermore, you benefit from didactic training or are willing to acquire it; training in interprofessionality and learning through simulation can be a plus. You have a good command of English; command of German represents an additional asset. You have a good knowledge of international literature in occupational therapy and occupational sciences, complemented by a good ability to use technological tools. You demonstrate autonomy, capacity for initiative and to participate in research projects, as well as the ability to work in a team and collaborate in a demanding training framework.
