To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual as an ICT Application Developer. You will develop and maintain individual applications using Java and JavaScript and actively help shape our ServiceNow platform.*

What awaits you ##

• You design, develop, and operate individual applications based on Java and JavaScript
• You implement requirements on our ServiceNow platform and continuously develop existing applications, workflows, and integrations
• You accompany applications through the entire lifecycle - from requirements analysis and design through implementation and testing to commissioning, ongoing operation, and continuous further development
• You work closely with specialist departments, Product Owners, project managers, and other ICT teams and translate functional requirements into sustainable technical solutions
• You ensure high software quality through automated tests, code reviews, and appropriate development standards
• You analyze errors and performance problems, resolve malfunctions, and support the stable operation of the applications for which you are responsible
• You document applications, interfaces, and technical decisions in a transparent, traceable, and audit-compliant manner
• You actively contribute your ideas and support the team in the further development of our development standards, architectures, and DevOps processes

What you bring with you ##

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable tertiary education
• Several years of experience in the development of applications with Java and JavaScript
• Experience in development on the ServiceNow platform, for example with JavaScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, or REST interfaces; alternatively, you bring the motivation to familiarize yourself deeply with ServiceNow
• Experience with APIs, databases, version control, automated tests, as well as CI/CD processes
• You develop solutions with a view to maintainability, security, performance, and stable operation
• High degree of independence and sense of responsibility, as well as the ability to reliably implement development projects from requirement to commissioning
• Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and enjoyment in collaborating in an interdisciplinary team
• Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing
