Our client, an industrial SME in the north vaudois undergoing rapid development, is looking for a:

Electronic and Mechatronics Development Engineer

Your mission:

• Develop analog and digital electronic circuits (design, simulation, schematic, layout)
• Participate in the assembly, wiring, and commissioning of prototypes
• Analyze malfunctions and propose technical solutions
• Design or adapt mechanical parts using Inventor CAD software
• Prepare and maintain the documentation necessary for manufacturing (drawing, assembly procedures)
• Develop test tools and procedures, notably in VBScript
• Accompany the transfer of new products to production
• Create test tools and procedures for production
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our products and our working methods
• Collaborate with our suppliers and industrial partners

Your profile:

• HES engineering degree in electronics, microtechnology, mechatronics or equivalent training;
• Good knowledge of electronic design and printed circuit board development;
• Ability to assemble, modify and troubleshoot prototypes;
• Proficiency with laboratory instruments and electronic measurement methods
• Familiarity with mechanical design
• Good command of French and ability to communicate in English in a professional environment
• Practical, rigorous and solution-oriented mindset
• Autonomous, curious and capable of working within a small team.

The position may suit both a motivated young engineer and a person already having a few years of experience. Great importance is placed on concrete achievements, personal projects and technical versatility.
