Product Manager: ICT Accessories

Do you enjoy assortments, products and numbers and want to actively help shape your area? In this role, you will manage a versatile assortment with over 8,000 articles and, together with purchasing, suppliers, marketing and sales, ensure that products, prices and availability are correct. You will keep an eye on key figures, maintain your supplier relationships and continuously develop the assortment. In doing so, you will have a lot of individual responsibility, without having to lead a complete Business Unit immediately.

What awaits you

• Management and further development of a wide assortment with over 8,000 articles
• Responsibility for turnover, margin, prices and availability of your product areas
• Selection and introduction of new products as well as cleaning up and optimizing the existing assortment
• Regular exchange and negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers
• Close cooperation with our purchasing department regarding procurement, conditions and availability
• Analysis of sales figures, margins and other key figures as well as deriving suitable measures
• Participation in pricing and marketing activities together with marketing and sales
• Participation in the further development of our private labels in the ICT Volume area
• Maintenance of product and master data as well as working with our ERP and purchasing systems
• Participation in projects related to assortments, suppliers, data connections and purchasing processes

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial or technical basic training, ideally with a connection to trade, purchasing or e-commerce
• Several years of professional experience in product management, category management, purchasing or a comparable function
• Further training in the field of purchasing, product management, marketing or business administration is an advantage
• Enjoyment of numbers as well as a good understanding of turnover, margin, prices and assortment development
• Very good Excel skills and confident handling of MS Office
• Experience in exchange and negotiations with manufacturers or suppliers
• Ideally experience with ERP systems, master data or inventory management
• Very good German and good English skills
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Interest in products and enjoyment in taking responsibility for an assortment
