You will work at the interface between IT and production, evaluate new technologies, and accompany their integration into our international production landscape. ICT System Specialist Industrialization | 80 - 100% Ref-Nr. 8067 Work location: Solothurn | Hybrid Your main tasks Evaluate new hardware and software components for our industrial ICT systems and accompany their introduction from integration through testing to successful commissioning Analyze the impact of new ICT components on existing system landscapes and derive well-founded recommendations for action Maintain as well as continuously develop and optimize production and industrial systems Advise and support development teams and users on system technical issues Create and maintain system documentation, operating concepts, as well as documents for change, incident, and problem management Analyze and resolve malfunctions in hardware, software, and communication components and develop sustainable solutions Your profile Completed training in computer science as well as higher education (HF/FH or comparable) At least 5 years of professional experience in the operation and further development of complex ICT systems Sound knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, networks (TCP/IP), databases, and PC hardware Experience in an industrial environment or in production IT is an advantage, knowledge of GMP-regulated systems is a plus Willingness to perform on-call service as well as driving license category B Willingness to travel to our production sites in Switzerland, Germany, China, and the USA (up to two months per year, distributed over several assignments) Good German and good English skills (B2 each) Why Ypsomed – making the treatment of chronic diseases possible The Ypsomed Group's over 2200 employees worldwide develop and produce injection and infusion systems for self-medication.
