About the Role

Swiss Himmel GmbH is seeking a Senior Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist to support large-scale reporting modernization and regulatory transformation programs within the Private Banking and Wealth Management domain.

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong technical and functional expertise in enterprise BI platforms, reporting migration, Oracle PL/SQL development, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience migrating legacy SAP Business Objects reporting solutions to Tableau and IBM Cognos, while ensuring data accuracy, governance, and compliance across critical banking environments.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, and regulatory functions to deliver high-quality reporting solutions supporting Credit Risk, Credit Lending, and Regulatory Reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Reporting
Act as the technical and functional SME for Credit Risk and Credit Lending reporting within Private Banking.
Lead end-to-end migration of SAP Business Objects reports to Tableau and IBM Cognos, including semantic layer conversion, report redevelopment, performance optimization, and user acceptance testing.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects, Tableau, and IBM Cognos.
Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and performance across multiple reporting platforms.
Data Engineering & Analytics
Develop and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for reporting, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues and implement permanent fixes.
Build and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio, including data mapping, transformation logic, and metadata management.
Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across reporting environments.
Production Support & Operations
Manage end-of-day batch monitoring and job scheduling using Autosys.
Support production reporting environments through Level 3 (L3) application support and incident resolution.
Automate reconciliation processes and threshold monitoring to improve operational efficiency.
Manage incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow in line with ITIL processes.
Governance & Regulatory Compliance
Support Consent Order and other regulatory remediation programs with accurate, audit-ready reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial data governance, classification, and data lineage standards.
Support audit activities and regulatory reporting requirements including Basel, FCA, MiFID, and internal/external audits.
Collaborate with Credit Risk, Lending Operations, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst or Reporting Specialist within Banking or Financial Services.
Strong experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Credit Risk, and Credit Lending domains.
Hands-on expertise with SAP Business Objects, Tableau, and IBM Cognos reporting platforms.
Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development skills, including performance tuning and data quality analysis.
Experience developing ETL solutions using Ab Initio.
Experience with Autosys batch scheduling and production support.
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and web technologies including OHS, Tomcat, HTTPS, and Siteminder.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD deployment practices.
Good understanding of financial data governance, data lineage, regulatory reporting, and audit processes.
Experience working with ServiceNow and ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering Consent Order or other regulatory remediation programs.
Experience supporting regulatory reporting initiatives involving Basel, FCA, MiFID, or similar frameworks.
Experience with enterprise reporting modernization and large-scale BI platform migration projects.
Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and enterprise reporting best practices.
