Carpenter EFZ – Furniture and Interior Construction

Requirements: We expect a good, professional basic training as a carpenter EFZ. Professional experience in all areas of carpentry is an advantage. You speak Swiss German or German and preferably have a category B driver's license. Manual skill and enjoyment of physical work in a motivated carpentry team are basic requirements. Activity: You create hand-drawn or computer-aided CAD workshop drawings that serve as the basis for the production of furniture and components as well as their assembly. You are able to manufacture workpieces according to plans. In addition to solid woods, you also process plywood, chipboard, and fiberboard, plastics, and certain metals. You cut, plane, drill, mill, and grind on large stationary machines and CNC processing centers. For certain work, you use handy electric and pneumatic tools and produce individual pieces of furniture and interior fittings. You also deal with veneer and coating work as well as surface treatment.
