Thanks to innovative technologies, the Service de l'eau has the mission of supplying drinking water to Lausanne and 21 communes of the Lausanne region, as well as ensuring the evacuation of water from the city of Lausanne and the treatment of wastewater from its agglomeration.
Within the Division du contrôle de l'eau, you carry out the collection of samples intended for the analyses of our laboratory. You are an essential link in the analytical chain and contribute, through the quality of your work, to the monitoring of water quality.
Your daily routine is marked by travel to different sites: catchments, groundwater resources, treatment plants, reservoirs, distribution networks, beaches, swimming pools and private clients. You work mainly in the field, while collaborating closely with the laboratory teams.

Main mission(s)
Perform the collection of samples for the monitoring of water quality
Carry out physico-chemical analyses in the field (in situ) in the water service supply network
Intervene at clients' premises or on industrial sites
Ensure logistics for the collection of samples
Ensure the proper functioning of all measuring equipment
Profile
CFC in a technical profession or training deemed equivalent
Network supervisor course organized by the SVGW, an asset
Professional experience in the laboratory field (medical, analysis, or other), an asset
Interest in technical measurements and the use of simple analysis devices (pH, residual chlorine, temperature, etc.)
Comfortable with following control procedures, sense of organization and rigor in work
Interest in the field of water control
Special conditions

Clean criminal record
