CNC Operator/Setter Short Turning

Your area of responsibility includes:

• Independent manufacturing of complex precision turned parts according to the production plan
• Operating and setting multi-axis CNC short turning machines (Okuma, Miyano, Tsugami, Doosan and Index)
• Inspection of parts with high-precision measuring microscopes
• Setting up the CNC machines through professional tool changes
• Planning, monitoring and optimizing production processes
• Ensuring high quality of the workpieces
• Rectifying production disturbances
• Contributing ideas for process improvement
• Carrying out cleaning and maintenance work
• Rectifying production disturbances
• Working hours: 2-shift model early and late shift

Job requirements:

• Completed basic training as Polymechaniker /-in or Produktionsmechaniker/-in EFZ or similar
• Professional experience as an operator and setter to perform independent series release
• Knowledge of the machine types Okuma, Miyano, Tsugami and Index
• Knowledge of the controls Fanuc, Okuma-OSP, Mitsubishi or Siemens
• Good 3-dimensional visualization skills
• Knowledge of tool changing and reading drawings
• German language skills at least A2
• Team and communication skills
