Logistics Manager (m/f/d)

Introduction

Do you maintain an overview even in complex processes, lead your team in a goal-oriented manner, and ensure that all logistical processes interlock efficiently? For our client, we are looking for you as a Logistics Manager (m/f/d). In this role, you bear overall responsibility for goods receipt, warehousing, order picking, as well as shipping and transport - always with a view to quality, deadlines, costs, and customer satisfaction.

Tasks

• Leadership and further development of the logistics team (technical and personnel)
• Ensuring a smooth material flow including internal supply
• Responsibility for inventory management: definition of target values, execution of inventories and clarification of discrepancies
• Analysis and control of relevant key performance indicators as well as derivation of improvements
• Coordination of transports: planning, dispatching and cooperation with external service providers; ensuring a high service level
• Guaranteeing quality and safety guidelines in daily operations; compliance with hazardous goods regulations

Profile

• Basic training as a Logistiker/in EFZ; additional qualification in the field of logistics is an advantage
• Several years of experience in a leadership function within the logistics of an industrial company
• Good knowledge of warehouse control, material flow optimization and Lean approaches
• Confident handling of ERP and WMS systems as well as mobile data entry devices
• Structured and precise way of working
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
