Avaloq Parameterizer / Java Backend Developer

Tasks

• Parameterization and further development of portfolio management functions as well as master data extensions within the Avaloq Banking platform
• Implementation of strategic projects in the area of investments & pension, in particular refactoring existing functions, interfaces and service calls in the area of investment proposals
• Conception and development of Kafka-based event streaming interfaces for connection to the central integration platform
• Support, maintenance and further development of Java-based backend components
• Support of ongoing operations as well as analysis and rectification of technical malfunctions within the framework of the DevOps approach
• Collaboration in an agile development environment according to SAFe and Scrum as well as close cooperation with internal stakeholders and other development teams

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Avaloq parameterization
• Several years of practical experience in Java backend development
• Experience with agile development methods, ideally SAFe and Scrum
• Readiness to take on operational tasks in the sense of the DevOps approach in addition to development
• Interest in banking topics related to investments, portfolio management and pension
• Fluent German skills

Advantageous

• Knowledge or experience in the area of event streaming, especially with Apache Kafka
