For our client, an engineering office recognized for its large-scale projects in mechanical and metal design, we are recruiting an ETH Mechanical Engineer (M/F) at 100% for a permanent position.
Your tasks at your new employer
You carry out mechanical and structural studies, taking into account physical constraints and safety requirements
You design, model, and dimension complex metal components using CAD software and numerical calculations
You participate in the optimization of structures by integrating performance, reliability, and ease of manufacturing
You collaborate closely with the design, production, and testing teams to validate technical solutions
You perform finite element analyses (ANSYS or similar tools) to evaluate the strength and durability of parts
You contribute to the continuous improvement of calculation methods and the development of internal simulation tools
What you offer your new employer
You hold an ETH degree in mechanical engineering
You have solid knowledge in mechanics, strength of materials, and stress calculation
You are proficient in Autocad and Inventor, and ideally ANSYS or another finite element calculation software
You work with rigor, method, and demonstrate excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of responsibility
You have a developed team spirit, a creative approach, and a good command of the English language
