Head of Finance / CFO at Circus Knie «Hereinspaziert»; a highly exciting job awaits you in a unique environment! Our client is Gebrüder Knie, National-Circus AG, based in Rapperswil. Circus Knie has existed for over 100 years. The Knie dynasty looks back on a history of over 200 years and is one of the leading circus companies in Europe, known for its entertainment that spans generations. With its current circus program, children's zoo, and 250 employees plus 60-80 seasonal artists, Circus Knie is successfully on the road in its 7th generation and is structurally well positioned. We have been commissioned to fill the position of Head of Finance / CFO as the long-standing incumbent will be leaving at the end of 2026 or by agreement. In this function, you are responsible as a member of the management board for the operational and strategic tasks in finance and accounting, supported by a powerful team of five employees. This includes budgeting, operational accounting, all closures, and investment and liquidity planning. You are responsible for reporting to the Board of Directors and Management and contribute proactively. In addition, you act as a trusted person in overarching financial matters for the management and the Knie family - you take on the role of a business economic sparring partner, whether in real estate, investment, tax, or other matters. To do this, you have an entrepreneurial, open mindset based on a university or college degree with a focus on finance/accounting. We require closure security according to OR and comparable financial management experience with forward-looking action. You also have experience in dealing with and cooperating with family companies, with an understanding of good governance, cooperative leadership, and solution-oriented thinking and action. You are flexible and resilient, empathetic and at the same time assertive, and can think yourself into a seasonal business as a financial conscience!
