Your tasks

• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will care for patients in an inpatient setting and actively contribute to the design of the individual treatment process.
• After thorough induction, you will progressively take on case management tasks and carry out individual psychotherapy treatments in close cooperation with our interdisciplinary team.
• Your varied everyday work includes the entire spectrum of psychiatric clinical pictures and offers you the opportunity to get to know different clinical questions and further develop your expertise.
• As an assistant psychologist, you coordinate treatments, plan individual therapies, and carry out test psychological assessments to support the diagnostic assessment.
• Participation in reports, interdisciplinary case discussions, and continuing education, as well as regular professional exchange with the other practitioners, are fixed components of your activity.

Your profile

• You have a completed degree in psychology (for a foreign degree, recognition by PsyReg is required) and are already in an advanced phase of your federally recognized psychotherapy further training.
• An assistant permit for psychotherapy from the Canton of St.Gallen (permit to work under supervision) is already available or you meet the requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• An independent and responsible way of working, as well as openness, empathy, and joy in working in a committed team, characterize you.
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing at least at level C1 enable you to communicate securely and professionally in everyday clinical life.
