Job Description

• Operation, monitoring and further development of network and security infrastructures
• Engineering and administration of firewall and security solutions based on Fortinet and Cisco
• Planning, design and implementation of network and security projects
• Collaboration on architecture, integration and migration projects
• Operation and further development of Ergon Airlock WAF and IAM platforms
• Operation and optimization of vulnerability management solutions
• Consulting and technical support for customers
• Development of new security services and continuous optimization of existing solutions
• Support of junior engineers in the team

Profile

• Sound experience as a Network and Security Engineer or in a comparable function
• Sound knowledge of Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiClient)
• Very good Cisco networking knowledge (Routing, Switching, Layer 2/3)
• Very good understanding of TCP/IP, High Availability, Routing and network architectures
• Experience with Web Application Security as well as IAM/SSO solutions
• Practical experience with Ergon Airlock WAF and/or Ergon Airlock IAM
• Knowledge in the area of Vulnerability Management, ideally with Tenable
• Experience with VMware ESXi, VMware Tanzu (Kubernetes), Linux, Splunk or PAM solutions is an advantage
• Ideally experience in a customer environment or at an IT service provider German at least at level B1 as well as good English skills
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment of complex technical challenges
