The Clinic Rheumatology & Pain Medicine is the largest rheumatology clinic in Northwest Switzerland. We are looking for an assistant physician immediately or by arrangement. We are a training clinic for rheumatology (Cat. B two years), pain medicine (SSIPM, 1 year), and internal medicine (Cat. D, 6 months). There is close interdisciplinary cooperation with the university orthopaedics in the house, spine surgery, as well as the internal clinics for rehabilitation, internal medicine and neurology. The Clinic Rheumatology and Pain Medicine actively participates in the physician-patient (AP-) teaching of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Basel. Your tasks Admission and care of inpatient patients of the clinic Assistance and infiltration during sono- and C-arm-guided interventions of the musculoskeletal system Treatment of outpatient patients in the Rheumatology-Pain outpatient clinic (depending on level of training and experience in the inpatient area) Day, night, weekend and emergency services Participation in the continuous and further education program of the clinic What you bring Completed studies At least 2 years of experience at a clinic (internal medicine and/or rheumatology) Verified and recognized diploma by MEBEKO German language skills at least level C1 (Goethe-Institut) Enthusiasm and motivation for the profession and the joy of learning Teamwork skills, flexibility and agility We offer The learning of diagnostics and management of a wide spectrum of inflammatory and degenerative rheumatism-pain problems, including imaging anatomy (X-ray, MRI, CT, sonography) and image-guided interventions on joints, soft tissues and spine Mentoring and curriculum planning (cooperation/network of our clinic with the Rheumatology University Clinics Basel and Bern) Versatile continuous and further education opportunities Interdisciplinary cooperation with different specialist departments Are you interested in this exciting challenge?
