You will strengthen our team in the Central Services, Occupational Safety and Health Promotion (ASGF) area as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Safety Officer (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN MOVE WITH US

• Support and advice to the executive management, the departments and the line managers regarding legal requirements, risks and preventive measures
• Support for construction management and calculation in the tender phase and during the AVOR of safety and health protection concepts
• Monitoring and execution of safety audits at construction sites, yards as well as at the office locations
• Cooperation with ASGS specialists in the working groups (ARGE) and in the Marti Group
• Investigation of accidents, near-misses and safety-relevant incidents as well as derivation and implementation of corresponding measures
• Maintenance and further development of the operational ASA safety system including definition of annual goals, focus programs and campaigns
• Preparation, updating and understandable communication of safety rules, work instructions, checklists and prevention documents
• Cooperation with the Occupational Safety and Health Promotion (ASGF) team and HR

YOU HAVE ALREADY LAID THE FOLLOWING FOUNDATIONS

• completed technical basic training with further training as a foreman, site manager or equivalent as well as further training as an ASGS specialist
• sound knowledge of Swiss ASGS legal bases, especially UVG, VUV, ArG, BauAV and EKAS directive 6508
• practical experience in hazard assessment, safety concepts, audits and accident investigations
• good knowledge of typical construction processes, work equipment and special hazards in the construction industry
• reliable written documentation as well as good user knowledge in Microsoft 365 and HSE systems
• very good German skills in speaking and writing, any additional language is an advantage
• committed personality with initiative, communication skills as well as empathy
• willingness to travel within the Canton of Bern, place of work Moosseedorf
