DenkBar is no ordinary bistro. It is a meeting point, a cultural venue, and a living room in the middle of the St.Galler Altstadt. People come to us for a coffee, for lunch, for a reading, or simply to encounter one another. To ensure it remains this way, we are looking for a personality who enjoys welcoming people, takes responsibility, and takes pleasure in further developing DenkBar together with our team. Operations Manager 80% Your tasks • You lead our dedicated gastro team with appreciation, clarity, and joy. • You actively work in service and are a host out of conviction. • You plan the operations, organize the purchasing, and further develop our offering together with the kitchen. • You are responsible for the budget, administration, and offers for events. • You contribute ideas and shape the future of DenkBar together with the board. What you bring with you • You have experience in gastronomy – ideally already in a leadership role. • You love being a host and welcoming people. • You lead by example as a leader and meet your team at eye level. • Entrepreneurial thinking, organizational talent, and a sense of responsibility are among your strengths. • You contribute ideas and enjoy further developing proven methods. • You possess the Wirtepatent or are willing to acquire it.
