Your responsibility

• Overall management of the Gymnasium with a Matura department and a specialized middle school (Fachmittelschule). Together with three deputy rectors, you manage the school in pedagogical, personnel, financial, and organizational respects.
• Pedagogical leadership and school development: You set impulses for contemporary education, ensure quality, and initiate strategic and operative development processes.
• Personnel leadership and development: You lead and promote teachers and employees, create clear framework conditions, and ensure an appreciative and binding leadership culture.
• Responsibility for students: Together with the school management and the faculty, you create good framework conditions for academic achievement, personal development, and a respectful school climate.
• Communication and cooperation: You represent the Gymnasium internally and externally and promote constructive cooperation with all stakeholders.

Your background

• You have a university degree with a teaching diploma for Matura schools as well as teaching experience at the secondary level II.
• You take on leadership responsibility and have completed school management training or are willing to complete it.
• You bring experience in leading projects, enjoy tackling complex organizational tasks, and work in a solution-oriented manner.
• You are practiced in strategic thinking and capable of working in a team. You maintain appreciative communication and encounter people with openness and empathy.

Gymnasium Münchenstein is a school with tradition, in which over 1000 students and 160 teachers meet daily and teach and learn together.
