Looking around Oberwil-Lieli, one discovers a very beautiful collection of natural hedges, terraced forest edges, poor meadows, colorful fallow lands and fruit trees. This results, in addition to responsible management and public programs, from the implementation of agricultural land planning in our municipality by the landscape manager. Unfortunately, the long-standing landscape manager recently resigned.

We are therefore looking for: a landscape manager for our municipality of Oberwil-Lieli

Do you have:

• pleasure and interest in comprehensive and sustainable maintenance of agricultural land in the municipality. Do you even live in our municipality?
• knowledge of natural hedges, field groves, standard fruit trees, terraced forest edges, poor meadows, colorful fallow lands as well as habitats in/around small bodies of water?
• a certain talent for planning and experience. Are you used to working in partnership with farmers and landowners?
• skill and pleasure in organizing work sites and field walks with the population?

Or, in short: do you like consistent work, on behalf of the municipality, for example with a farmer, to discuss and agree on the maintenance of their natural outdoor objects?

Annual workload:

• A total of 2-3 days of planning work in the field/office (flexible availability).
• A total of 2-3 days for various consultations with farmers (flexible availability).
• Participation in 2-3 evening meetings with the landscape commission
• 1 day to lead a work site or a field walk with the population in the municipality

The mandate is remunerated by the municipality.
