With around 1'400 employees, Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as for the implementation of various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of convicted people and are effectively and progressively committed to a safe and just society. The Psychiatric-Psychological Service (PPD) is one of the eight main departments of JuWe. As one of the largest institutions for forensic psychotherapy and psychiatry in Switzerland, it specializes in the recidivism-preventive treatment of violent and sexual offenders in detention and in freedom. The range of treatment options extends from court-ordered measures to basic psychiatric care therapies. To strengthen our dedicated treatment team in the area of Stationäre Erwachsenenforensik (StEF), we are looking for a motivated milieu therapy specialist for the Forensisch-Psychiatrische Abteilung (FPA). The position is fixed-term for one year.

Your tasks

• Key person work including treatment planning and supporting a prosocial and treatment-promoting milieu
• Development and implementation of case-specific milieu therapeutic treatment measures, taking into account the psychological and physical resources of the clients subject to measures
• Participation in ensuring and further developing reliable execution-organizational and security-relevant processes in the FPA (ensuring hygiene, catering, laundry changes, sick leave reports, and mail)
• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of accompanied therapeutic outings and leaves with the clients subject to measures

Your profile

• Completed training as a Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF, preferably with a focus on psychiatry
• Ideally experience in penal execution, particularly in the areas of care as well as work and employment
• Mature, resilient, and conflict-capable personality with strong relationship competence
• Strong team and communication skills as well as enjoyment of trusting and constructive cooperation
• You are open to an interdisciplinary way of working and ready to continuously learn
• An impeccable record (no entries in the criminal and debt enforcement register)
