AI Engineer

What awaits you
As an AI Engineer, you are part of our newly emerging AI Hub, which is responsible for the technological basis for AI at Centris and simultaneously acts as an enabling team for the entire organization. Together with the specialist departments, you identify and realize meaningful AI applications, from the idea to productive use. * Together with business and process owners, you develop AI Agents, LLM/GenAI applications, RAGs, and agent orchestration for concrete business challenges

• You will further expand our central platform for Agents, AI Services, LLM access, and Knowledge Management and are responsible for its operation
• You share know-how, develop patterns and best practices, and enable teams to use AI independently and responsibly
• You reliably connect APIs, data sources, and enterprise systems, and further develop PoCs into robust, scalable productive solutions
• You ensure data protection, IAM, and traceability from the beginning for AI solutions and implement the necessary guardrails

What you bring professionally

• Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or comparable technologies, including productive operation
• Initial experience with Agentic Workflows/Multi-Agent systems is an advantage
• Good understanding of modern software architectures, APIs, integration, cloud, and production-ready systems
• Knowledge in Python, LLM APIs, Agent Frameworks, RAG, Vector Databases, or Azure completes your profile
• Business fluent German, fluent English skills (min. B1)
