The contribution you can make

• Lead the Business Analysis specialist sector from a technical and personnel perspective as well as coordinate tasks, resources, and priorities
• Further develop methods and standards for business analysis, requirements engineering, and business process management and ensure their application
• Provide advice to specialist sectors and within projects regarding the analysis of complex requirements, business processes, and solution variants
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and verifiability of technical requirements throughout the entire lifecycle of specialist applications
• Promote the timely inclusion of business analysis in projects as well as identify risks, dependencies, and consequences of organizational, legal, and technical changes
• Lead technical dialogue within projects, operations, and quality engineering as well as with internal and external partners and promote skill development in the Business Analysis sector

What distinguishes you

• University degree preferably in business informatics, informatics, economics, or an equivalent field; continuing education in business analysis, requirements engineering, or process management constitutes a preferential qualification
• Several years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or business process management and leadership experience
• Deep experience in the analysis, structuring, and documentation of complex technical requirements and business processes
• Experience in structuring complex specialist, organizational, and technical connections and deriving solid solutions and decision bases from them
• Interest in the leadership and development of employees and in collaborating with various stakeholders at different hierarchical levels
• Good knowledge of a second official language; knowledge of a third official language and English constitutes a preferential qualification

The Police and Identification Systems directorate of fedpol ensures the secure operation and further development of essential police information systems and databases, serves as the national liaison point for the exchange of police information, and provides forensic and identification services to national and foreign partner authorities. The Police Systems division ensures the secure and stable operation of the Swiss police's central information systems. It further develops these systems according to agile methods, based on requirements, and ensures their availability, functionality, and efficiency for police activity.

Complementary information

Knowledge of the HERMES project management method and experience with complex Swiss or foreign specialist applications constitute a preferential qualification.
