Head of Distribution & Freight Forwarding 100% (m/f) Your tasks You ensure efficient, customer- and sales-oriented distribution – taking into account optimal schedule and resource planning You are responsible for the functional and personnel leadership of a team of up to 40 employees You guarantee smooth coordination and communication between the various warehouse managers, the goods outward department, and various internal departments You coordinate third-party transport services, plan the maintenance of our vehicles, and support the procurement of the vehicle fleet You are responsible for the maintenance of the goods handling hall (cleanliness, order, space conditions) You undertake various administrative and organizational tasks You support your supervisor in projects and participate actively in the training of the apprentice road transport practitioner What you bring with you You have the appropriate education and training as well as several years of professional experience in the logistics/transport sector Your main working hours are between 10.30 to 20 o'clock, you are flexible regarding seasonal shifts You have good geographical knowledge An exact and independent way of working distinguishes you Proficient German is required.
