Technically proficient? Workshop Manager / Production Mechanic EFZ sought (m/f/d)

For an established manufacturing industry company in the Wettswil am Albis region, we are looking for a technically skilled and responsible personality as a Workshop Manager / Production Mechanic starting September 2026 or by arrangement.

Our client specializes in the manufacture of high-quality industrial containers. In this versatile position, you will combine practical mechanic work with responsibility for the workshop.

Your tasks

• Setting up, monitoring, and repairing production systems
• Organization and management of the workshop in cooperation with the plant manager
• Maintenance and preventive maintenance of machines and systems
• Analysis and rectification of mechanical and technical malfunctions
• Carrying out quality controls
• Ensuring applicable production and quality standards
• Optimization of manufacturing processes and system availability
• Planning and coordination of upcoming repair work
• Support of operations at the second location in the Canton of Aargau

Your profile

• Completed training as a Production Mechanic, Agricultural Machinery Mechanic, Construction Machinery Mechanic, Polymechanic, or in a related technical profession
• At least two to three years of professional experience
• Experience with production machines or industrial systems
• Strong technical and mechanical understanding
• Ability to read technical plans and drawings
• High sense of quality and responsibility
• Good user knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
