Tasks ##

• As a nursing contact person, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing process, involving the social environment and the internal and external network.
• You shape everyday life together with the residents in a family-like setting - from cooking and eating together and housework to actively participating in leisure activities.
• You actively and enthusiastically commit to the further development of the nursing services in your residential group by contributing yourself and your ideas and helping to shape the broad scope of action.
• You support the specialist in charge of dementia in accompanying the team in challenging situations, work closely with the professional network, and actively engage in the further development and implementation of our dementia concept.
• You support apprentices and students of various training courses in the health and social sectors in the development of their competencies.

Profile ##

• Passion for the concept of nursing residential groups and for helping to create a beautiful home for the residents
• Interest in the field of dementia and the willingness to take on a corresponding specialist function in the medium term
• Training as a qualified nursing professional HF/FH with SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad, as well as additional training in the field of dementia or the willingness to complete such
• Resilience and joy in using the responsibility and scope of action of an independent residential group
• The willingness to pass on your specialist knowledge, strong leadership skills, and joy in active co-creation

The Gesundheitszentren für das Alter of the Stadt Zürich are one of the largest geriatric institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the elderly and nursing sector - with competence, heart, and a comprehensive range of services from a single source.

The decentralized Pflegewohngruppen of the Gesundheitszentren offer space for groups between 8 and 22 people with a dementia or geriatric psychiatric illness. Comprehensive nursing and care are offered in a family atmosphere. The focus is on individual, everyday, and needs-oriented support for the residents and their relatives.
