What you can contribute

• Evaluate the relevance of communication data in accordance with the objectives defined for security policy and analyze its content
• Complement analysis results using information from public sources
• Write reports on the extracted information
• Process assigned files autonomously and develop them proactively
• Optimize existing methods, analysis techniques, and processes and contribute to developing new ones

What makes you unique

• Degree from a higher education institution or equivalent higher education training
• Highly developed analytical mindset and very good writing skills
• Particular interest in issues related to security policy and the armed forces in East Asia
• Very good understanding of technical links and skills in the fields of cyber, telecommunications, IT, and/or data science
• Good active knowledge in a second official language, very good knowledge of English and, ideally, knowledge of Mandarin (B2-C1)

In a few words

You work autonomously on defined themes within an analysis team. In a dynamic environment, you contribute to the processing of communication data in order to extract information relevant from the perspective of intelligence and the security policy of Switzerland. You demonstrate rigor in your work, you like to discover new technologies, and you are able to maintain an overview in stressful situations.

The commitment is limited to the period from 1 January to 30 June 2027.
