Specialist Open Youth Work

Around 300 employees shape the municipality of Davos every day. We ensure that Davos works, develops, and remains a place where people like to live and work. Our Open Youth Work is right in the middle of it: We create spaces where young people are welcome, can get involved, and can develop. In the youth center and through projects, we accompany young people on their way to independence - at eye level and close to their living world. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as Specialist Open Youth Work ## Your main tasks • Design and operation of the youth center as well as building sustainable relationships with young people • Accompanying young people in concerns, conflicts, and challenging situations • Development and implementation of leisure activities, events, and projects - gladly with new ideas • Promotion of diverse, respectful, and gender-sensitive youth work • Maintenance of the network with schools, specialist agencies, and associations as well as representation of youth work to the outside world • Active participation in the further development of Open Youth Work using digital media Your profile • Training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Socio-cultural Animation, or a comparable pedagogical qualification at HF or FH level • Joy in working with young people and an open, empathetic, and appreciative attitude • Independence, sense of responsibility, organizational talent, and teamwork skills • Willingness to try new things and contribute own ideas • Good digital skills and interest in social media • Willingness to work flexible hours, especially on Wednesday afternoons as well as Friday afternoons and evenings; evening and weekend shifts What awaits you • A meaningful and varied activity with a large degree of creative freedom • High degree of independence and personal responsibility • A small, committed, and collegial team • Subject-specific further training and development opportunities • Attractive employment conditions and good social benefits Do you want to accompany young people, take their ideas seriously, and make a difference together with them?
