YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Technical and commercial management of projects for the integration of ETCS onboard systems.
• Responsibility for projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from handover by sales to the end of the warranty phase.
• Ensuring the achievement of project goals regarding deadlines, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Planning, coordination, and control of all project activities to ensure successful and timely project execution.
• Active stakeholder management as well as building and maintaining trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, internal teams, and partners.
• Proactive identification, assessment, and management of risks, opportunities, changes, and project dependencies.
• Monitoring project performance, including costs, revenue, forecast, and profitability.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations as well as precise and timely project reporting.
• Leading, motivating, and developing interdisciplinary project teams as well as promoting effective collaboration and a strong team culture.
• Continuous development and optimization of project management methods, processes, tools, and best practices.
• Active contribution to the improvement of project execution and business success.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Completed university degree in the field of engineering, for example, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of experience in project management, preferably in the rail or transport industry.
• Experience in leading interdisciplinary technical projects with responsibility for scope of work, deadlines, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in the rail sector, for example, TSI CCS and UNISIG, is an advantage.
• Experience with ETCS onboard systems or railway signaling technology is an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills as well as competence in stakeholder management.
• Structured, proactive, and result-oriented way of working as well as a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Very good user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Very good English skills; German skills and other languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel of approx. 10--25 %.
