The production mechanic manufactures parts and devices or series of small parts.

Devices are primarily intended for the manufacturing of watchmaking products, but also for the programming and optimization of these production machines.

The repair of individual elements, maintenance of installations, fault diagnosis, and restoration to working order are also part of the production mechanic's tasks.
