Talent pool - Production Operator 5x8 # Location: Orbe, Switzerland Work model: On site / Full time Contract type / duration: CDI, 100% Start date: Around 2026 Schedule : 5x8 (morning, afternoon, night, weekends, public holidays)   *This is a talent pool: you will only be contacted in the event of a job opening.*   Job Summary As a 5x8 Production Operator at Nescafé, your mission is to ensure the proper functioning of complex installations dedicated to the manufacture of soluble coffee in compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with the production, maintenance, quality, and other support departments. In this role, your agility, rigor, and curiosity will be key to meeting operational expectations. The courage to report issues, provide constructive feedback, and act in the face of risks or quality or safety deviations will also be essential.   Your impact as a 5x8 Production Operator • Monitor and operate soluble coffee manufacturing installations from the control room, adjusting parameters according to manufacturing recipes and processes. • Perform regular tours of the installations to control their condition, visually or auditorily detect anomalies, and anticipate failures. • Identify failures, apply first-level actions, and work in collaboration with maintenance for interventions. • Apply good hygiene, food safety, and quality practices; you participate in the consistency of our products and the trust of our consumers. • Contribute to continuous improvement and safety, evolving the practices, environment, and performance of the installations. Be a driver in production digitalization. • Collaborate effectively during shift changes, ensuring a clear transmission of information and the continuity of operations.   What will make you successful in the role • Technical training or strong interest in mechanics, automation, or electricity. • Bringing a solid understanding of complex production installations, you make reliable decisions to maintain line performance. • Rigorously applying safety, quality, hygiene, and food safety requirements, you contribute to an exemplary production environment. • Using your digital ease and analytical skills, you monitor production parameters, document controls, and resolve deviations methodically. • Collaborating with reactivity and autonomy, you support the team, facilitate interventions, and contribute to the continuity of operations. • Communicating fluently in French. • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, reactivity, and curiosity.   At NCH, we place people at the heart of everything we do.
